Top: Type I. The early extractor is higher on the slide, with the pin at an angle from the right side up through the top. Slide serrations extend beneath the extractor. Simplified EZ grip monogram. Middle: Type II. The later extractor is lower on the slide and pinned straight up and down from the top of the slide through the bottom. The slide serrations are slightly shorter and do not extend beneath the extractor. More ornate EZ grip monogram. Bottom: Type III. Front plate beneath the barrel eliminated. Takedown is accomplished by turning a transverse pin 90 degrees. Serial number is moved to the other side. |
