Note differences in frame, trigger, trigger guard, safety lever, winged bullet logo, slide serrations, grip plate escutcheon and location of serial number. The late Model 1908 on the right has its serial number on the back of the grip. The magazines are interchangeable, but no other parts. According to Gordon Bruce, the gun on the left was made in June 1908, whereas the gun on the right was made in December 1920. |
