Posumavska Zbrojovka Kohout & Spol. (SPK) took over the Slavia line of pistols in 1935 and produced the same pistol under the MARS trade name. It is a simplified copy of the Colt .25 of 1908. Very early examples of this gun were marked PZK rather than MARS--these are quite rare. Probably less than 1000 PZK pistols were made, but the MARS continued the serial number sequence from the PZK. |
