About Unblinking Eye

My name is Ed Buffaloe.  I live near Austin, Texas.  Unblinking Eye is my web site. Originally intended as a personal site to showcase my photography, writing, and other interests such as poetry, motorcycles, fountain pens, and most recently gun collecting, it has become an online magazine for the photographic community at large, while still retaining quite a few personal touches. I hope you enjoy the site and find it useful.  Unblinking Eye hosts the Austin Alternative Process Group home page.

Contributions: I am interested in publishing original technical articles on photography, similar to the ones already included here--anything about darkroom work, developers, toners, bleaches, special techniques, or historical or alternative processes.  I am also interested in travel articles, trip reports, photo tours--anything photography or travel related.  Finally, I am also accepting articles on firearms and collecting for my gun pages.

Gallery: I am offering gallery space to other fine art photographers who do not have web sites of their own.  I will accept contributions of 5 to 10 fine art black and white photographs per artist for display on the site for one year.

Costs for maintaining Unblinking Eye have increased about 400% since I first published the site in 1999. Your book and other purchases help support this site.  Thanks for your support.
