View to the East from our Front Porch

People always think it must be hot in West Texas, but our cabin is at 6200 feet above sea level. In August the early morning temperature is between 60 and 65 degrees F. During the day it gets into the 80’s (occasionally the 90’s), but all one has to do is step into the shade and the temperature drops by 10 degrees.
