Trim and bevel the edges

Because my hand is in motion in this shot, I’ve inserted a picture of the edging tool I’m using.  You can perform this operation before wet molding, if you wish, but I find that the leather is often deformed during molding, so I prefer to do it afterward.  Sometimes I take a Dremel tool with a round sander on it and sand the edges before I bevel them.  I use a smaller edger to go around the belt slots.
