Trimming it up

It is nearly impossible to cut two pieces of leather to exactly the same dimensions, and equally difficult to glue them together perfectly, so take a minute to trim away excess leather from both sides so their dimensions are the same.  If you need to adjust the overall size of the holster, now is the time to do it.  In this case, I’m making a holster for a Walther Model 8, which has a slimmer magazine than the Kel-Tec P-32 whose pattern I used, so I can cut about a half-inch off the length on the magazine side of the holster.
