Unblinking Eye
The 1910 Browning and the Bufalo
Browning receiver Bufalo receiver

Browning on left, Bufalo on right.  The ramps are nearly identical.  The Browning uses 4 lugs to lock the barrel, whereas the Bufalo uses 3.  The Bufalo has a piece of metal projecting upward from the frame which serves as an ejector.  The Browning’s firing pin serves as its ejector.  The end of the Browning’s stirrup-shaped connector (connecting the trigger to the sear) is visible in the left-hand photograph.  The Bufalo’s connector is not visible, but runs along the left side only of the gun.
