Draw the slide forward off the frame. (Note: These guns are very tightly fitted. The slide and breech block may not separate easily. If this is the case, draw the slide back and lock it open with the manual safety latch. Then release the safety, while holding your hand in front of the gun to catch the slide as it is propelled off the frame.) |
