The early first variant grip on the left has the grip screw at the rear. The grip plates are dovetailed and fit into tiny slots on either side of the grip. The serrations on the grip were added later. Note the screw just behind the trigger which protrudes through from the other side of the gun. The late first variant grip on the right has the grip screw hole in the center and has two large holes cut to accept protuberances on the back of the grip plates. |
